    Workplace Diversity

                                  Presenter: Mr. D. Harrison Tsosie

Promoting diversity and inclusion within your workplace is one of the best ways to foster an open-minded company culture. When you have a diverse work force, they provide unique employee perspectives and when that work force mirrors the population of the community in which you operate they can give you the intercultural perspective as well.  The next FCHRA luncheon meeting will present “Workplace Diversity” and provide you with a better understanding of working with diverse cultures.
    • Provide information on being more culturally competent to an ever growing and changing diverse population
    • Basic learning goals of intercultural communication by encompassing cultural self-awareness
    • Gain proactive skills in intercultural perception and communication
    • Awareness and/or reflection of your diversity and inclusion efforts
The FCHRA is proud to have Mr. D. Harrison Tsosie as our presenter on Workplace Diversity.  Mr. Tsosie received his Juris Doctorate Degree, his Baccalaureate of Science Degree in Psychology, and an Associate of Science Degree in Native American Studies from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.   He has done various intercultural presentations on how the legal perspective of Native American Communities affect diversity in the workplace.
Additionally Mr. Tsosie served as Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General for the Navajo Nation from 2004 to 2016 which provided him extensive insight into the legal perspective into Native communities.
