    Ethics, the Foundation of Successful Business Management presented by Mary Gordy

    Mary Gordy owns MLG Consulting, a management and human resource consulting business.  She has over thirty-five years of experience in human resources management.  Prior to starting her own consulting business in 2015, she worked in senior level human resource management positions for Giant Industries, Western Refining, Arizona Public Service Company and Public Service Company of New Mexico directing multi-state regional human resources departments.  Ms. Gordy has provided human resources oversight and leadership in both union and non-union workforces.
     
    She has been an Adjunct Instructor for the San Juan College Center for Workforce Development since 2008, facilitating human resource and management courses.  She has also presented at public seminars. 
     
    Ms. Gordy is a charter member of Four Corners Human Resource Association (FCHRA).  She is one of the individuals responsible for moving a network group of HR professionals into the formal SHRM HR organization that FCHRA is today.  She has been a member of SHRM for thirty years.  Currently she is an Officer on the Board of Directors for FCHRA and has held several leadership positions including President for this organization over several years.  She has also held leadership positions with SHRM New Mexico. 
     
    She has a BA degree from Fort Lewis College, Durango, Colorado.  She is a graduate of Leadership San Juan.  She is a Past President for the Four Corners Employer Education Services (4CEES).

    She holds human resource certifications at the senior levels from the Society of Human Resources (SHRM-SCP), the Human Resources Certification Institute (SPHR) and the Mediation Training Institute (Certified Mediator).
