Our December monthly meeting is always focused on thanking our members.  Join us on December 19th for a fun, networking and more fun!

Grievance Procedures

Panel discussion of grievance processes in union and non-union environments.  Panel members represent private, government and educational environments. The panel will discuss the following: What is the purpose of a grievance procedure? Who is responsible for the process? What are the reasons for and steps in filing a grievance based on the environments represented? What is Human Resources role in the process? Participants will have the opportunity to ask the panel questions.

Modern Day Stress Managment

Presenter: Dr. Portia Sykes, Harmony Naprapathic

Stress has multiple effects on individuals: mental, emotional, and physical. Dr. Sykes will discuss some of the physical reactions to stress and the consequences of prolonged, chronic stress. She will also suggest stress management techniques for a healthier response to life's challenges.
